farmsoc

What problem is Farmsoc solving?

The agricultural sector of Nigeria and Africa at large has several challenges, most of which are financial sustainability and access to the right market. This innovative idea is about changing our mindset towards agriculture and how we farm; Farmsoc is position to transform the entire Africa into the hub that feeds the world. We bring communities together with a simple motive – to ensure there is food on every table for every mouth.

How do you get buyers for farm produce?

Produce from our farms are sold back to members, into the local market and whenever possible export abroad. We are currently discussing partnership with several off-takers including food processing companies locally and internationally.

Can I visit the farm?

Yes, you can! We organise frequent farm tour to allow members and non-members come around to gain more insight on our operation (see how we do what we do); members and potential partners can use this opportunity to measure such farm’s growth.

What are the Farmsoc's opening hours?

The Farmsoc office is open daily, 10.00 - 17.00 (last entry at 16.00)

Special farm exhibitions will open late on Fridays until 20.30 with last entry at 19.30. Contact us for more information. Find out about upcoming late opening on Fridays.

We are closed on 24, 25 and 26 December.

How is an Farmsoc investment different to saving in the bank?

Investing is more risky than saving. With savings in the bank, you have the security of earning steady returns - through low interest payments. But with Farmsoc investments, you take a risk on whether you make a profit or loss - but higher interest payment. A person should only invest if they are prepared to take the risk that their investments could go down, as well as up, in value.
